Food Network can't even get their own website right!

by Melissa Richards-Person » Thu Jul 12, 2007 12:14 am

So I just turned on Food Network, expecting the Hot Brown Throwdown, and I got....The Pizza Challenge?!?

And here's where it gets funny....I went back to the Food Network website, thinking that maybe there was a last-minute change, and there are no fewer than three DIFFERENT listings of what should actually be airing right now! The pop-up "what's on now"box, says "The Next Food Network Star" (nope)
the "daily schedule" says "Pizza Challenge" (ding-ding), and under the Throwdown with Bobby Flay, Hot Brown episode, it lists July 11th, 12am E (sorry, Charlie)

No wonder they can't give anyone advance warning - they can't even give each other the right info!!!

Sigh - I can only hope that one of the other listings is right so I can catch this!

Actually, it was on last night at midnight. Apparently Food network is the only TV listing that changes the date at midnight, rather than later in the night. :?
