Never trust people that spit out a perfectly good drink. Beer drinkers swallow!

I would like to echo Madi D's comments on the Fork Cork and Style event. While the event was not perfect, Churchill's staff was happy to help, and learn from what went right and wrong. Meridian Cafe was happy to be chosen as a vendor, and we hope to be involved in the next Fork Cork and Style.

Yes French Toast....Michele, thank you for the compliment, I am glad you enjoyed our offering. We are proud of our french toast and think it is a perfect treat any time of day.

We would like to thank everyone that came out to support "Fork, Cork and Style". We had a great time and hope the event was able to make a difference in the lives of those who will receive the generous donation. Cake Flour was flattered to be invited and greatly appreciated everyone's efforts to get this to event up and running. It sounds like the organizers learned a great deal about the event and logistics and hope that they continue to work on this for next year.

Thanks again to all.
Keep it sweet and natural!

From what I noticed Basa and The Fishery rocked it out at the event. Basa even rant out of multiple choices.....The Fishery's fish and onion ring selections were awesome. While some people down play them, I thought they were delicious and perfect for the type of event.

Looks like Churchill Downs folded up the Entertainment tent. They must have lost a bundle.

Yep, looks like the HulabaLOU thing is toast as well. Can't say I'm surprised...from what I read in the CJ last summer they lost their butts on that one. Too bad. Hopefully things will improve to the point they can bring both of them back.

Churchill has a great plan to make money. The state's morality police, though, are opposed.
Thinks the frosty mug is the low point in American history.
