Actually Cobett's has a nice sized TV in the bar that you can see from tables in the vicinity. We watched some NCAA action there a couple months ago.

Come to think of it, we watched the Preakness, or maybe the Belmont, there last year.

Get something Italian. :D Seriously, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I did have a Bucatini all'Amatriciana that was on as a special once that was particularly amazing.

Anyone know if reservations are needed for a party of 4 for around 8 on Thursday night? I was thinking of arriving around 7 and having apps and drinks at the bar before sitting.

I would recommend it. Volare tends to stay pretty busy, and Thursdays are always a big night on Frankfort Ave.

Also, you're likely to get better service by making a reservation - always nice to give the restaurant notice!
