For future reference: The Brownsboro burger at Shady Lane cafe on Rudy lane.
The Bison burger (with Truffle oil and Parmesan fries) at Brix Wine bar and Bistro in the Forest Springs shopping center on New La Grange road in Anchorage. (attached to Liquor world).

Both outstanding!

They are OK but I certainly don't think they're as good as they used to be nor as good as many of the other places mentioned. Also to me the atmosphere is very depressing, very dark and it only seems a little dirty to me. Probably because of the self service bar for the toppings.

Well, good burger place doesn't necessarily imply BEST burger place, and IMO, Cousin's burgers are better than "ok", and arguably on par with some of the others mentioned....but that's the beauty of opinions...each is as good as another's...

I think that Ollie's Trolley has the best burger and fries in the city, but since they're not really a dine-in place and only open during lunch hours, it's probably not what you're looking for.
