Now that we've completely hijacked the thread, I've been to Southeast. I think it's more about making a big impression than it is about anything else, plus they pack people in like sardines (and trust me, that place is PACKED on a Sunday). It's not for me, but there are people who just love the place.

I've been to Zaxby's in Shelbyville. I love it. I wish they'd put in a Zaxby's on Dutchman's, close to where I live.

Well wouldn't you say think maybe it's packed for a reason? No one forces anyone to go there..and I promise you they're not using any tin foil hats with mind controlling devices. I've been going there for 8 yrs and yes, I'm one of those people that loves it.

I don't recall saying there was anything wrong with that, just that it was not for me.

I think that's what I said too. I tried really hard to be descriptive, not critical. I didn't even intend to be snarky about "Christian MTV." That's just what the music struck me as.

We had some people buy sheets of copper to put between their box spring and mattress to keep the "energy-sucking black holes" from "zapping" them while they slept.

Maybe it was that lady that's running for Mayor that saying that LG&E is sending her messages through her microwave and toaster.

What ruined any hope JFEC had of luring me in was when I visited with a friend and saw people sitting in the coffee shop in the lobby of the church (bigger than any Starbucks I've ever been in) watching services on TV while sipping their mochachino latte whatevers.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but.... does that really count?????

No word if Zaxby's is going to be simulcasting services on Sunday morning. I'll have a dozen hot wings and eternal salvation.

To go please.

Who's to say what "counts" or not. But it's a very non threatening place for some people to go to the services at. There have been people who've come and that's where they feel comfortable..who knows. Also, it was GREAT for me when I had a small infant. I swear for 9 weeks in a row I got called out of the service because my child would not stop crying (you know that wonderful clingy stage) and at least I got to see a service sitting out there. Plus the cafe is open all week so it's a nice place for people to meet and talk. They also serve great salads (cheap!). They also have bands on Friday nights.
