I've never tried to ask for tap water at a movie -- are they usually pretty willing to oblige? Do you buy a snack or just go ask for water?

My kid has the happy tray, and Hubby has popcorn and soda so yes we buy other things

However, water with lemon should cost $5. Let's see if it's really your drink of choice if it costs twice as much as a soft drink.

And your logic for this is?

There was no logic. I was just being a jackass. ;)

I really hate lemons on water glasses, limes stuffed in bottles of nasty Mexican swill and other citrus fruits adorning the rim of wretched mock Belgian wheat beer. Wait -- all of it is just water, right?

I was going to offer that one up, too. It's as ... um ... cool as a cucumber!

Count me in as one of the lovers of cucumber in the water glass. :)

I like my water plain thank you, but don't have much of a problem with pizzeria attitude - nor customer attitude in this case. It's part of the quirky charm.

I used to work on West Main and went to Luigi's a lot. I also spent some time talking with him in the late afternoon at Boomers. He's a good guy, but has the NY attitude thing and some strong opinions - he doesn't like ice in drinks either.
I wish I could still walk to Luigi's for lunch...

I drink 3 things at a restaurant. Beer, water & wine. I don't want my water in a bottle because of environmental reasons & I don't think that it should be a commodity (there's few things more important than water). I want my water from the tap & I want it to be free. I think that responsible restaurant owners should recognize the fact that there are reasons other than just being cheap when it comes to ordering water to drink. Many of us also like to drink a glass of water w/ our beer or wine. I personally applaud restaurants that offer tap water over bottled water (e.g: Isaac's Cafe @ Bernheim Arboretum & Research Forest).
