We had this on our last visit, and I'd put it in my personal top 5 favorite dishes anywhere in the city. Really, putting an egg on top of anything adds 10 points in my book.

Adam,
Im so glad you enjoyed everything! Thanks for sharing your experience here. The wine that you had was Finca “El Reposo” Malbec. I know that they carry it at Old Town.
Hope to see you soon!

We went to an early dinner with a friend of Mary's at Seviche last night, and by wild coincidence turned out to be seated right next to a couple we know well.

Everything was great and the service spot on ... I'm still remembering the seviche trio of ahi, halibut tiradito and crab (pictured), but Mary loved her pollo asado, and the anticuchos with truffled jalapeño paté were mighty memorable too, even if they do substitute chicken livers for the traditional beef heart. ;)

Really enjoyed the brunch at Seviche today. Happy place with lots of happy families. We were probably the lone table of two there, because we just went by ourselves. (I asked my mom to come for brunch, but she declined, saying she'd rather have dinner at her house later in the day. Her loss!) My husband is a sucker for the huevos rancheros. I think he had been thinking of them since he got them at their New Year's Day brunch. He needed coffee in a bad way, and really enjoyed his cup - was very glad to know that they serve Java Brewing Co. Seviche's focus on local, small producers is one of the reasons we go back again and again.
