Re: 5th Annual Keg Liquors Fest of Ale, June 5th

We'll be making our final decision tomorrow once we get a better determination of the weather for Saturday on whether we will stay outside under the tents or move the event inside St. Anthony's. The forecast has changed every day so far this week for Saturday, so I want to get a better determination on what it will be tomorrow. Either way, it will be a great event, but if the rain chances stay in the 50% range, we will be indoors. Stay tuned for further details.

Game on, we are keeping the festival outside! It looks like the rain is going to hold off until Saturday night, so we'll be under the tents.

Very good. We'll see you there. What time should we roll Rosa in place?

1:00 should be good for you all, but if you want to bring her over earlier, and then come back, that would work too.

One seems early for a three o'clock start?

Thanks to everyone who came out for the Fest today. It was a great time, and it looks like we are going to top last year's numbers.

How about $5100.00 from the Fest of Ale to the WHAS Crusade for Children? Not too shabby people. Thanks to everyone who came out and donated so freely yesterday. It made me proud to make that check out the Crusade this morning.

Thanks to all the local breweries and national breweries that came out, as well as our distributors (both wine and beer) and also to everyone who braved the heat yesterday to make this our best year ever.

As always, I welcome your feedback on the event to try and make it that much better next year. I've already talked with the St. Anthony's men's group to try and move the food just a bit closer to the tents as well as the porto-potties so that people don't have to walk so far to get to them.

Thanks again!

I challenge the out-of-town and for-profit beer (distributor) fest to match our local contribution.

The fest was great Todd. We can't wait until next year.

I finally uploaded the few pictures I was able to get of the festival this morning to Facebook. My batteries died early into the festival, so I was not able to get a lot of pictures. If anyone else has any they would like to share, please let me know.

Here is the link to the pictures. You don't have to be a member of Facebook to view: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=1 ... 49dba040b2
