Actually.....for the record, I DID let the kids choose where to go. Also for the record, I personally don't give a rat's ass what anyone, including members of this forum, think of my parenting skills as far as where I take my children to eat. I personally pay my own bills, and make my own decisions. I also think it's extremely poor taste to judge others that you don't know.

For the record, I didn't get a sense that the crowd was singling you out (I know I wasn't!) so much as talking in general terms, but I can see where you could take that either way. Anyway, good defense.

Just for the record, I personally think this place and Hooters and any place else promoting scantily clad women and alcohol is no place to take a child. Shame on parents who think it is ok to promote sexism to their young children! Adults have the right to choose to eat in this environment, children have to go where their parents take them.

Now that I'm officially an "old perv", I really need to check this place out.

Seeing as how I'm in the mid-30's, I should come along for a placebo effect when in the presence of kids 15 to old farts in their 50's.




We shoot past discussing the food or restaurant. We begin to question society and its motivations. Perhaps I'm naive in thinking some are able to give their opinions regarding a restaurant without interjecting social commentary. For me, I don't want to start a discussion about sexism when all I care to know is "Did the burger suck?"

But, I know this is selfish. Because people DO want to talk about these things and I'm not the one to say otherwise.
