The only tables open were towards the back. I'll wait for a table in the front if I go back.

Our server was ok in the looks dept, but she would probably fall in the lower half of those working.

I did forget to mention that her last job was at a day care center. I found it funny that she has went from drooling babies who soil themselves to drooling old dudes who probably soil themselves.

The table full of 60+ year olds next to us were bordering on sexual predators.

Definitely not the brewery's moniker...though I suppose appropriate marketing for TK

PS, I was there the other day for a late lunch and I deem the Tilted Wings very good.

Almost forgot the old dudes. They probably soiled themselves.

I agree with the JH review. I wasn't as put off with the server sitting at our table and another server joined her after we finished. They are trained not to drop your check until you ask for it.

There is a distinct delineation in the assigned server areas; bigger boobs, taller and blonder the closer to the door. We were seated in the short, brunette, and non-enhanced boob section.

They must rotate the servers to 'spread the wealth' then. I've been there twice now (friends from Lexington made a trip up this weekend to see it, and 'forced' me to go along - I resisted for at least a full second, which by my standards is pretty impressive when there's beer and/or scantily clad women involved) and both times the 'tall, blonde/fake red, and enhanced' group was working the back of the room and the bar.

Our server this weekend was the tallest one I saw in the place - I had flashbacks to the 'Death by Snoo Snoo' Futurama episode for a few seconds when she first walked up.

We (the bf, me, and the three mini men) went tonight about 6:30ish. We got seated right away. Had an attentive waitress. I had the Gaelic Chicken, he had the longshank platter (sausages and mashed potatoes). Both were really good. The kids had burgers (HUGE 10oz) and chicken fingers. Both were also good. Four beers, two apps, five entrees, two desserts (which were HORRIBLE).....it was $100. Not too horribly bad. The boys (all of them including the big one) enjoyed picking which waitress they thought was the cutest. There were a few good looking guys in kilts (something about a well built man in a skirt...........yum) around. Nice beer selection (we love Magic Hat #9). We'll go back.

I went with Justin and some of his coworkers yesterday.

For its class, this one is a winner. We had a great time. The food, although nothing chef-driven was solid and prepared well. I'm with Jeremy- the wings are tasty. Lightly sauced, unbreaded and spicy. The litmus test for me is the drumette, especially by the top-joint. Cooked perfectly, something that is oft-overlooked, in my opinion.

We didn't get too jazzy in the beverage department, so nothing to report on there.

Service was friendly, but we had a trainer-with-trainee-in-tow, so we got thier best. The trainee even played along with my little ruse. I noticed that Jusin's coworker's son kept blushing when she came to the table, so I was playfully screwed with him and told him that she liked him, which only made it worse. Hilarious. Right at the end I said to her 'You like him don't you?' She laughed and said 'yes!' and winked at him. Made that prepubescent boy's month. Of course I had to let him know he now officially had 'cooties.'

I'm not a fan of the Hooter's 'in your face' play on sexuallity. It's garish, to me. Yet, this is tastefully done. I was pleasantly surprised by that. Oh and the dudes wear black kilts- I was jealous (seriously.)

They have pool tables, with brand-new felt and cues- a big plus for poolplayers like me. I was able to execute a masse'. Sounds funny, but can probably be best described as calling the experience a 'new-car smell for poolplayers.'

A foodie paradise it isn't. But a good place to take non-foodies it is.

EDIT: Oh, and like Justin said, there was the table of old guys that seemed to not let the servers leave. I can't wrong them for that, I suppose. It's the same reason I enjoy hanging out with lesbians. We like the same things!

Just for the record, I personally think this place and Hooters and any place else promoting scantily clad women and alcohol is no place to take a child. Shame on parents who think it is ok to promote sexism to their young children! Adults have the right to choose to eat in this environment, children have to go where their parents take them.

Really, promoting sexism? There must be something I'm missing. No one in our group is sexist or were promoting sexism to a child. We showed the same respect to the servers at the Tilted Kilt as we would have at any other restaurant.

That was kinda my point, maybe I got a bit heavy on the toungue-in-cheekiness. Seriously, thier kilts are 3 inches or so over thier knees. Thier shirts had sleeves and although a skosh tight, wasn't what I would call garish. They don't oversell the whole thing. Even the service style was unassuming.

I just had some fun with a 12-year old boy. Good-clean fun, promise.

I do agree with you, though, a parent might want to go to the place sans-youngin to judge for themselves first.

They call it a Pub, but it is more a restaurant with a bar and a couple of pool tables- like Fox and Hound.

Hope that clears things up some...

I find it in extreme poor taste, and very low class to take children here or to Hooters. I have been to Hooters once, it was around 9 or 10pm - and some people were having a 2 year olds Birthday Party there!!! Poor kid.

You see more skin on the beach and pretty sure sexism can go both ways given the right circumstances.
