Does L&N take reservations

by Todd Antz » Fri Jan 15, 2010 11:01 am

I'm sure I can wait a few hours and just call them about this, but we are trying to plan a birthday dinner tonight, and I've been wanting to try out L&N for some time. Beings that it is a Friday night, I was hoping that they take reservations, so I wanted to throw this out to the forum to see if anyone knows.

Thanks in advance!

I just found that on their website after I posted..... now I just have to figure out what time someone would be there to take the reservation.

Yup, they'll be in there between two and three to start answering the phone. Enjoy! I'm envious. I used to work there, and it's still one of my favorites.

Todd, have a great dinner and Happy Birthday!!! (I assume that's why you're heading there) Len and Nancy run one of the great spots in this town, with one of the best chefs in town, Rick Adams. I am sure that you'll enjoy it immensely. Make sure you save room for the Creme Brulee, though. It is hands down the best I've ever had.

Yep, my birthday dinner.... love it when I get to choose. I called and left a message, and will just wait for the callback.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

I want to thank the crew at L&N for an tremendous dinner on Friday night. That place just has an excellent atmosphere, to go with the great food and outstanding wine list (and a pretty decent beer list as well).

We started out with the 4 Cheese Fondue appetizer along with a few wine samples. I love that you can get 2oz samples of any of the wines on their list. I moved on to their Ahi Tuna. I ordered it as rare as you can legally serve it, and they complied perfectly. Seared on the outside and perfectly pink throughout. The mushrooms and broth they were served with with had just the perfect amount of spice to go with the Zinfandel I chose to go with it. My wife went with the Shrimp and Grits and the bit I got to sample was fantastic. I finished up with a cup of coffee and my wife and I each got some of the best Creme Brulee I've ever had. The service was prompt, but never overbearing. I got the opportunity to meet Len as he came over and introduced himself and wished me a happy birthday.

This was one of the best dining experiences that we have had in the area. I wholeheartedly recommend L&N to anyone.

We were there last Tuesday evening and I, too, had the shrimp and grits. Outstanding! Maybe the best S&G in town. And perfectly attentive but unobtrusive service. A great meal.
