Nimbus, I wish I could give you the goods on some place you don't already know of, but for vegan meals, I would think you know better than anybody who's serving them. That said, you should know that if you go to any respectable restaurant and look at the menu, you can construct your own dish, not because you're a better chef than they, but because you have dietary exceptions applicable to a fraction of a percent of their clientele. They can't put something on a menu that one person out a thousand will order. I've worked in 1000 local places (tehe) and NONE of them would hestitate to do everything to accomodate you. They ALL have vegetarian items and many additional vegan friendly ingredients on hand. All chefs want to be challenged and based upon what I gather about you, you're not picky. Just go wherever you want and make it happen! I swear, no BS, they'll appreciate it. The food awaits you, and needs to get eaten. Also, I recommend North End Cafe in case you hadn't thought of them. Lot's of locally sourced produce and ecologically sound concepts.
