The October burger really sounds good! Of course how can you go wrong combining a burger and fondue?

During my first two years at Centre back in the early 2000's, there was a joint called Spivey's nestled down along the street that ran parallel to the railroad tracks on the back side of Centre's campus. It served a very good sized burger topped with a fried egg, was open very late, and was an easy walk from the frat parties. 2AM at Spivey's was fun indeed.

It closed, then reopened, but lost the late hours and tasty grease.

What puts this whole thing over the top is Patrick Warburton.

Go to Australia! An Aussie Burger "with the lot" comes with a thick burger and all the usual trimmings we see over here - lettuce, tomato and onion and such - but then they add a fried egg and a thick slice of boiled beet.

It's actually delicious, but you pretty much have to be in Australia to make it work.

I certainly have! Of course I've also had several of their other burgers because they're all so good. The garlic fries are also rather addicting.

i've never been to red robin. i was working at an old job and a chef/owner came in one day saying he had taken his family to red robin the day before and that the food and service weren't good. so, i just have never made it a point to go. guess i shouldn't have listened to him! you guys all seem to like it so i will definitely check it out and i'll get the one with the egg on top and the garlic fries for sure!

I'm kind of a minimalist when it comes to burgers. Cheese and mayo are all I put on quality meat, maybe pickles on occasion.

The burgers are pretty good. It's very $$$ for what it is, though. I'll take a Cumberland/BBC/Bristol/Proof/Jack Fry's/etc. etc. etc. burger any day, and they're all the same or less $ than Red Robin.

I used to be sorta picky about my cheeseburger toppings but nowadays I just say, "Everything". This site is driving me towards a mental frenzy of cheeseburger awesome town.

So I am looking into my crystal ball... and I see drooling... and I see... I see... I see a trip to this Red Robin place and eating fistfulls of cheeseburger stuff like a wild ogre. There will be glory!
