I like it. Decent barbecue, maybe not top of the heap, but I'll eat it. :)

my husband and i went there tonight......got it to go.......he got a half slab with a baked potato and green beans.....i got chicken and pulled pork with cheesy potatoes and green beans......very very dissappointing..... his ribs were very dry....as if they had been sitting for a long time.....they were actually a little hard......the cheesy potatoes were cheesy but flavorless.....we didnt eat the green beans.....i didnt even touch my chicken and pork because when i opened my plate it was just wrapped in paper.....very odd to me....and extremely unappetizing....looked just as dry as the ribs were......we got it to go because of the little ones.....my husband was going to eat while i drove only to find out that they didnt give him any utensils.....sigh.....

personally not worth the $30 we spent........

my husband kept saying.....we could get soooo much better at Franks......i agree......

Ouch Becky!

I have only been there one time with the family, but I would go back. Food was good, not great. The service was good, not great. They did have a man singing some soft/classic rock. Now he was very good! Not the greatest bbq in the world, but our experience was much better than Becky M's.

I would have to agree that it is good, but not great. There are a couple bbq joints that I prefer.

I've liked it the times I've been out there, but nowadays there isn't anyone I know out that end of town, so it's harder to get out that far just for food.

When I drive past Pig City all I think about is how it survived and Mazoni's didn't.

I used to think it was a lot better than it is now. The they used to have some of the best brisket in town, I loved it without sauce. Now they serve it in smaller pieces with sauce already added. I won't eat it again. They do have some very good sides, especially their beans.

Pig City and Jucy's have the best BBQ I've tried in Louisville and I've tried quite a few places in the last 6 months. Try the smoked chicken wings, In a word they are awesome.

the cornbread I enjoy there very much and the wings are excellent, but the last time I ate there, the brisket had taken a step down, which is a shame because its my favorite thing there.

I've been there several times..never by my choice. The pork I've had has been decent and I liked that they had multiple sauces to chose from. I have never had a side there that I liked. I hated their potato salad, their mixed veggies were hard and their coleslaw was inedible. Personally, my husband and I LOVE Mark's Feed Store and we even pay less there than we did at Pig City.
