A co-worker just went to the one in Lyndon. There was an hour wait. Just FYI.

I'm planning to hit up the one in Central Station after work. I hope I can get in the door.

Went by the one downtown and it was lined up all the way to Liberty. Had to be at least an hour wait.

We just got back from the Hurstbourne location. Waited 45 minutes to place our order, but the food got to our table in less than five.

Just had lunch at the Summit location. It was chaos. Got there at 11:20 and got food at 12:20...one of our orders had rice so undercooked it was inedible. Lots of other problems I won't go into.

It is a nice gesture, but if they do this again they really need to limit it to one or two bowls per person - the huge to-go orders were a killer.

We got to the Hurstborne location around 11:30. Stood in line for 40 minutes, got to the table, waited another 10 or so to get our food. Not horrible. they seemed a little understaffed for such a big lunch rush though

Went by Central Station for late lunch at 1:30--line out the front door--drive through for me!

I went to the one in the Highlands at 1:30, there was a 45 minute wait.

My frined just called from the Summit and said there is no line there now.

I went to the Hurstbourne location at 3:00, only a 5 minute wait.

However they required a drink purchase for each $1 entree. Not a big deal since we were planning on getting one anyway, but sort of misleading based on the e-mail they sent. I didn't see that mentioned.

The person who took my order (manager I think, based on the different uniform) was snippy to the person in front of me in line, not sure why. But it was obvious she was not having a good day.

The food was good, much more flavor than the last time we ate there.

Just back from the poplar level store and they had no wait! Sign on door said that $1 Entee only after 4 and dine in only. They did give me mine to go but that may have been because there was no wait and I only got one entree.

Dropped by the NEW location in Crestwood for a late lunch (after 2pm)....the place was nearly full, about six people in line and maybe double that number waiting for their orders (and they didn't look happy)....but for $1 entrees you should expect some trade-off....unfortunately, we didn't have the luxury of time and resorted to Plan B -- Steve O's (in the heart of the Buckner Metroplex) for some great pizza....

Just came back from the Summit location. We waited until after the dinner rush to go over to avoid the crowds and it totally backfired on us: they were closed when I arrived at 7:40. We'd called around 5:30 and were told they were open until 9:00. No explanation given- but I assume they either ran out of food ( most likely) , or their employees couldn't take it anymore...

Oh well...And I was really looking forward to that Drunken Chicken and an Abita.

I'm so mad. I got to the Central Station location around 7:20 and they had a guy at the door turning people away, saying they were closed. He said they were set to close in an hour and a half and they already had an hour and and a half wait so they weren't letting in any new customers. Darn it!!

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who came out to our $1 entree tax relief day. It was quite a success and we fed (the early returns indicate) nearly 15,000 bowls of food today. We hope everyone got their meals in a timely fashion. I know at the 4th Street location we had a wait a little over an hour for some orders at one point, but I think everyone got what they ordered.

Obviously we had no way of realizing the turn out would be so tremendous, so if there were a few foibles here and there we humbly beg your forgiveness. All of our stores were stocked to the rafters, but that said, some did run out of food before our estimated time of close. I apologize to anyone who was unable to get served at the store they chose to visit. (The good news is, we are offering $3 bowls after 3pm weekdays with the purchase of a beverage for the foreseeable future, so you'll still get a deal!)

We are aware that one owner made the decision to require the purchase of a drink with the $1 entree. I would like to assure you that this was not our intention, we clearly advertised the special as not requiring additional purchase. Likewise we also made all of our stores aware that this was the promotion. However, one independent owner decided to go against this and require the extra purchase. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or aggravation this caused. It was not as we intended or designed.
