I don't know of anyplace in town that stocks fresh buffalo mozzerella. But they do carry it at Jungle Jim's in Cincy. It's worth a day trip if you are jonesing for more gourmet foods. Search on here for several threads about visiting it.

Marsha L. wrote:Has anyone here ever made it? It's super-duper easy to make if you can get the curd base. Just add hot water and salt and a lot of hand-forming-mooshing love, and it's awesome.
Phil Gissen wrote:I just returned from Frascellis up in Oldham County. I had to try some New York Pizza. Darren, the proprietor, is from Brooklyn and the pizza, although no Grimaldis or Joes, is still darn good. The drive took about thirty minutes, and I don't know if I would drive just for the pizza. However, Frascelli's seems like a nice place and they have live music every Friday and Saturday nights. The deli was mediocre and I do believe Lotsa Pasta is infinitely better. I still can't get fresh buffalo mozarella...................I did drive down Covered Bridge Road into Prospect which was just beautiful. What a beautiful area. When it's time to buy a house, this would be great area. Thanks

Could be wrong but I believe I have seen small containers of Buffalo mozzarella at both Lotsa Pasta and Whole Foods.
