Freak occurences happen everywhere. I would not give that a second thought: Le Relais has been one of our top tables ( top 5 in many people's books) for many years- with fantastic food & service, stellar execution and romantic atmosphere. It would be the perfect place to go for a wonderful Valentine's Day.

If you choose to eat things that wild animals might want to eat outside, then you should consider the fact that said animals would be drawn to you...espesially if said foodstuffs should touch the ground. It'd be pretty freaking ridiculous to blame Le Relais for a critter outside. I can't think of a restaurant in Louisville with a patio that hasn't had animal issues.

A couch in Andy's house.
Sorry about that Dee Dee. I considered putting fresh Squab on the menu as we had a bunch that lived at the Inn and straffed the guests on the patio.....should have handed out pellet guns for patio dining.DeeDee D wrote:Jeremy, I think your response was spot on! It was outside. How can you judge any place for any natural happenings outside of their building? A few years ago when Bistro New Albany was open, we were having dinner outside and my husbands tower was buzzed by a bird! No one exited the place in horror!!! We were outside, it was bound to happen! Plus can you blame the critters for wanting some crumbs from either place???
