As an aside, I'm not sure what qualifies as "East End" anymore.

Both are very close to downtown, and since they're both east of downtown, they're "East End" enough for me.

Germantown, no. But back in the day, Highlands and Crescent Hill WERE "the East End." St. Matthews was suburbs, and everything else was farms. Geez, I'm old.
