Coffee Distributor?

by Trisha W » Thu Dec 29, 2011 11:21 am

I'm in need of a coffee distributor for our shop. I can't seem to get anyone at Heine Brothers to call me back about ordering. I need coffee ASAP. Anyone have other suggestions?

David Lange, who hangs out on the forum, represents Consumers Choice. They have a great line of coffees and I'm sure can come up with a program to serve you.

As for Heine's, you might try calling the Frankfort Avenue shop and ask for Mike or Erin. I'm not sure what happened there, but I think either of them would respond quickly.

Sunergo's is the highest quality, best tasting locally roasted coffee in Louisville, and no other roaster comes close.

As far as if their pricing is high or low I have no idea but they have a great product.

You will love the service and product from Consumer's Choice but I'm not sure if Consumers Choice goes to E-town but here's the phone number 502-968-4151.

If they don't come your way, another person you can call is Angie Shipaila with GFS. She is the hot beverage product specialist and is also a wealth if information and while not quite as good as Consumer's Choices product, she will provide you with a great level of service. Her cell is 502-301-0904.

Consumers Choice is the way to go. David Lange and Leo Fante are the best in the business. I have been with them for over 7 years and they absolutely rock out.

I think a big determination could be if this is coffee for a coffee shop or a restaurant. As she mentions "shop" in the post, it sounds like a coffee shop, also her reaching out to Heine looks like she's trying to find a smaller local roaster. Just guessing here...

I agree, with the addition that Quills Coffee now roasts their own and their coffee is at least as good as Sunergos'. Quills supplies Please & Thank You on East Market, and perhaps some other shops as well.

Actually, Trisha is opening a bakery in E-town and I wish her all the best of luck with her new endeavour.

Either way she is in good local hands with Consumers.

Are you the person who purchased Julie's?

Consumers Choice Coffee is definitely the way to go with a good combination of product and service!

Thanks, guys!

Yes, I bought what was formerly Julie's. You won't hardly recognize the place when you walk in though. All cleaned up. Bright new paint, with a "sweet" color palette. TOTALLY new menu featuring fresh baked artisan breads, brownies, cookies, pastries, fruit tartlets, pie and cakes both as wholes and by the slice, cupcakes (including chocolate and yellow as standards with a "flavor of the week"), cake truffles, muffins, decorated cakes, and other assorted sweets. We will also be continuing the bagels, with a few twists, and adding quiches for breakfast. We'll be serving some select sandwiches (including a hot brown), rotating in house made soups, and some salads.

We just chose Sunergos Coffee (on Woodland) as our coffee supplier! I LOVE that they fresh roast their coffee beans weekly. It's going to be an exciting addition!!!
