East End outside of the Watterson, but not afraid to travel for good grub

It has turned into one my favorite places to dine, and having my roomy in the kitchen is also a plus.
As I was sitting there enjoying my burger and sweat potato fries, in walks Gov. Steve Brasher and he lovely wife Jane, with Jerry Abramson and his wife. I must say, I was rather impressed. Now I must admit, it was a treat to see Jerry and Madeline (we have attended several events together), and additionally got to met the Governor.
Now I do realize that they can go anywhere for a bit of dinner, but I must say that it is very much a compliment for them to come in for dinner there. What a tip of the hat the Chef Harold Baker and staff….Kudos!

[I'd say the same thing about the other party's ticket, so this is not meant to start partisan wars.]
