We ate in the spirit room on the east end before the game on 12/31. Legends ?
They ran out of or had no country ham , it was on the buffet menu.
The green beans were tough. The turkey being carved did not look white like breast.
The Food service supervisors in that area , are not friendly.
Sure it is tough trying to get that much food out !

I would like to respectfully ask that a previous snarky comment I made (in another thread) regarding food service at the "Taj Ma Basketball" be stricken from the permanent record. Myself, Dan Thomas and Alan H had the opportunity to sit down over a couple of refreshing adult beverages with Chef Kavanaugh yesterday and I must say I came away with a different perspective. Until our conversation I had no idea as to the scope and complexity of the operation...or the dedication and man hours required to keep the wheels turning in this type of operation.

In this day where every short order cook wants to be called "Chef", I believe Chef Kavanaugh, through experiences like catering three Super Bowls, the Vancouver Winter Olympics and other high profile events is certainly worthy of the title. Given the number of events held, it will likely never be the case where the complaints regarding Centerplate services at YUM, will totally disappear. That said, I have a sense that as time marches on things will continue to improve and these complaints will become less and less frequent.

Welcome to Louisville, Chef.
