we have also always had good experiences there as well.... personally, i think everything was slacking because of a Christmas party that they were going to be having later on, they were closing early because of it. But, service should not have been impacted because of that.
The issue was..... no food in the buffet......i mean literally.... they was no chicken in the pans, no biscuits, no potatoes because they kept serving the takeout and drive thru orders from there.... it was very odd. The dining room was full of diners eating from the buffet and we were all just sitting there looking at each other.

Becky, I wish you guys had a J. Gumbo's or Shiraz on the Sunny Side ... locals that can compete in price with fast food but lots better! I'll bet if we all work on it we can come up with some Southern Indiana locals that can compete, though.
