Its about time.
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

Whatever...I think I could wrap Rice Krispies in Fondant put it on some sticks and pull off half the crap they were doing on that show..Oh I forgot... There is a camera in my face..Let's try to make it look interesting!
Has anyone really ever seen them actually eat any of those cakes?

Thank you cake gods! Their "cakes" are rice krispie treats and copper pipe and other support structure.

The beginning price was $600 per cake.....even just a 10" round two layer cake.
Ridiculous.
I have a pseudo-relative that got a cake from "Cake Boss" bakery .....tasted like poop covered in fondant.
It's great if your cakes LOOK good...but they need to TASTE good too.

I ate a very small piece of their "severed toe" cake at Lebowski Fest a few years ago. It wasn't bad. It was what I've always known as cake, and not a rice krispie treat.

Never really watched the show.

I used to watch it more to admire what wonder of engineering they'd come up with next. But the show was just that—more about construction than food. Some models didn't even have cake in them.

Ace of Cakes taught me one thing for certain: fondant solves all problems. It is the baking equivalent of duct tape! Why try when you have fondant to cure all ills?

And like duct tape, fondant doesn't taste too good. Or so I've gathered from tearing tape with my teeth.

Yeah they look nice but since they are all rice crispy treats they arent even vegetarian friendly.

Yes, marshmallows have gelatin. And yes, good fondant does taste good. Bad fondant tastes horrid though.
