Ditto that. I immediately read your post- and was immediately disappointed that I'm WAY ourt of your delivery zone. Then again, if you can't deliver it perfectly to the East End due to travel time, I'm glad you don't offer it as an option.

Wow, that's not a very large delivery area. I live in the same neighborhood and can't get it delivered?

Seriously?

I live in Fern Creek and some want their pizza delivered 3.0+ miles less from the destination.

Delivery in the Highlands (limited area). That's an interesting idea. On one hand, it's a walking neighborhood. Go walk and get your pizza! On the other hand, that pizza will be cold by the time you get it home.

I think the delivery area should EXCLUDE people within 1 mile. Get walking already!

Eastern Pkwy looks like it is just over 1 mile from the magical pizzaland!

They could do like a Domino's model throughout the city. No eating in. Just carryout and delivery. Or just delivery. Just a small pizza making place. A Papalinos for every end of town!

It could get crazy if each one had merely a 1-mile delivery area. There could tons and tons of Papalinos all over town.

The more I talk, the less profit I am imagining....

Jeez....1 mile away is pretty subjective folks. I highly doubt that they will be Map-questing every address for a delivery order. And given how bad the traffic is on Baxter/Bardstown Rd, I'm amazed that they are even going to try offering delivery again.

Seems to me that when they first opened they offered delivery and everyone was complaining about how long and how cold the pizza was. I think the one mile thing is a good thing. That way they make sure that the pizza is right.

I agree. Think about it in terms of timing. Most pizza places are positioned so that they have a delivery area where they can be at the house/business in 5-8 minutes. More time than that and the pie starts getting cold. In the Highlands traffic, one mile could easily eat up 5-8 minutes.

We're approximately 2.6 miles from them and got delivery a few times when they first opened. Our pizza arrived in great shape each time, though I recall the complaints you're referencing.

Papalinos, if you deliver to me, I promise to never complain that the pizza is cold... :P
