Market on Market

by Allison Williams » Thu Aug 02, 2007 11:33 pm

Just a little reminder to come downtown to the Main/Mark Trolley Hop. So many Galleries and Restaurants doing some great things for patrons.

445 East Market will be hopping with plenty of music for those who are opting for an alternative to the concert at Slugger Field.

Market on Market is hosting an open reception for Anne O'Connor and her lovely paintings that will also include musical performances by Joel Gerdis of 49th Star, Rob Carpenter of The Muckrakers, Paul Moeller of Digby and Dan Weigleb. It begins at 6pm. http://www.marketonmarket.com

Primo Restaurant is hosting a Jazz performance by Carly Johnson. She has a voice that will blow your mind. She will be performing from 8:30 to 10:30. We would love to see you for dinner! http://www.primorestaurant.net

;) Just up the street there will probably be more blackberry cobbler to eat than you can imagine. Sounds like fun to me and an extra few miles on my bike Saturday morning.

Thanks Robin and Hotbytes for letting me do a little promotion.

We love you guys!
Have a great trolley hop!

NO! Rats - I had high hopes for that place - even tried to get a job there once upon a time when they first opened.

Wow, what a great space - somebody needs to snap that up, quick....or is something else already in there?

Anybody need a tax write-off/want to own a gourmet cupcake and lunch shop that comes with a ready-made shop keeper and pastry wizard? (it's mighty close to Cake Flour - and Primo - though).

Damn, damn, damn - there's never gonna be anyplace good to go to the grocery downtown, I sometimes think. Their merchandise was high-end and consequently pretty pricey, but I thought, what with the luxury condos and whatnot....

WOW-that is news. Was just there a about 2 months ago and they were open? It was a nice and pretty place but not much actual product.

I just called the phone number of Market & Market. They answered and said they are open under the same management. (closed Sat and Sun)

OK, I was somewhat misinformed. It turns out the are closing but plan to move to a better location in central downtown (pending?).
