New member here!

by Corey A » Thu Oct 07, 2010 5:25 pm

Hi!

I just wanted to introduce myself as I am new to the forum! I actually don't live in Louisville, but in the eastern part of KY. I still consider myself an avid foodie and make the trip to the 'Ville whenever I can!

My next excursion will be later this month for my birthday! I plan on visiting Vietnam Kitchen and Seviche, possibly more!

Nice to meet all of you!

Cheers

Welcome to Louisville Hotbytes, Corey. Any chance you could make it to Louisville on Sunday, November 14 for our Louisville Hotbytes Offline Potluck? We'd love to meet you in person.

Two great choices. I'll add that you will be very close to a few other excellent choices. Cumberland Brewing is within walking distance of Seviche, great local beer and jerk wings and Pho Binh Minh is very close to Vietnam Kitchen, excellent Bahn Mi ($3).

Welcome aboard, Corey.

BTW, anytime the wife and I get within 50 miles of Paintsville/Johnson County, we make a point of stopping by Wilma's Restaurant to fill up on local fare and information. Is Wilma still serving up those pies?

Welcome! Always love to have new people join our fold.

Don't be bashful about chiming in on subjects....also, if you find yourself up this way and you catch wind of one of our offlines, join in. It's a wonderful way to put faces with names.

Thanks for the suggestions! I have been enamored of Vietnamese food since my first bowl of pho. I HAVE to try a Bahn Mi!

Sadly, I do not know the answer to that!
