That's not true. There are many types of food poisoning and not all takes 24 hours. Some takes longer and some even takes effect and finishes within 24 hours. Not too long ago, I had a battle with an egg that showed early signs at 2 hours and within 8 hours, it was kicking my butt. It vacated my system by the 24 hour mark.
