You are wonderful in giving us a forum to post everything local. I love getting these notifications, but would like to know in advance that's it's a PR piece before reading it.

As you know I have nothing against marketing your place or posting events (done it many times myself). But I'm suggesting that we all use a convention of something that tells that in the original subject, with the courtesy of telling our fellow forumites that it is exactly what it is. Otherwise, I'm concerned that the Forum will be overrun with marketing/ads and move away from it's original intent as an on-line discussion board for those who love food.
(Thanks for not telling me that I'm being too anal...)
