Maker's 46 in stock?

I know this isn't really "food" but we discuss spirits here a lot, so I figured it was safe.

I got to try the new Maker's 46 at an event in B-town a while back and enjoyed it. It's supposed to be released today-ish. Any of you store owners have it in stock yet, or has anybody seen it around town?

The first official bottles where dipped yesterday but,
I got an email saying its on the shelf at a few locations yesterday. A list of location is coming friday-ish on their web site.

Update.. It was shipped early to some states that require ABC approval of new products. From what I read may hit shelves her next week?

You can find Maker's 46 in your favorite on premise accounts this week and your favorite liquor store next week!

I was out on a Makers cocktail judging tour last night (don't ask! ) and we saw it on the back bars at Seviche and Jeff Ruby. In both cases, the novelty of a new item was selling it out fast. The folks from Makers I was with concur in Rick's report: Restaurant bars get it this week; liquor stores will follow shortly.

Yeah.. .the first bottles bottled were dipped, but those bottles had been filled and put aside weeks previously. I know it's available on the shelf in some states, just not this state. Damn it. Guess I'll try again this weekend and see if I can get lucky. I guess I could always drive to Loretto....

No luck for Indiana either. We might see it later next week, but they do not have a firm date yet. Ironic that you can probably find it in California, but you can't buy it 50 miles away from the distillery yet.

I don't think so. We met a guy from San Diego in Jack Fry's last night who was practically offering to sell Kevin from Makers his firstborn son to get him a bottle in California before his birthday later this month, but things didn't look optimistic.

I am working at at both to answer your question Mr. Robin and I also work for a dec. concrete company called Colorsurface...lol I really enjoy working for Chef Deano, Mrs. Sara Cahill, Johnathan Taurillo, and Mr. Gary Fox they all have taught me a lot about this industry. I really have also enjoyed the knowledge of the bourbon world of Mrs. Joy. So if you want any caribbean cuisine or American homestyle please let me know...lol

The 46 was about 86'd at Seviche on Wednesday night. I expect they had more, though.

I got to try it a couple of days ago. It packs a punch. It's nothing I would drink neat, or even on the rocks, but I could see it working in a manhattan or old fashioned.
