Good Burger Place?

Any suggestions on where to get a good, thick, juicy burger? Price not a concern, but if it requires reservations, I'm not interested...tis the plan for tonight!

Bank Street Brewhouse! Mary got the burger during our visit (see the recent review on HotBytes home page), and it was awesome.

Try Granville Inn... it's my favorite burger in the city.

I know it is too late for tonight, but Shady Lane Cafe at the Watterson and 42 has a fabulous hamburger. It is where I spend my burger/fries calories!!!

Corbett's on the patio or in the bar. Prime beef sliders or a regular size burger. I was there last night and the patio was fabulous. Price friendly too.

Couldn't talk the hubby into driving across the river, so we ended up at Home Run. Good as always! I will be hitting up Bank Street soon though! Thanks for all the suggestions!

My new favorite is the Bank Street Brewhouse. Awesome burger with an amazing amount of fries. I like the Bristol Burger a lot except the last two times I've eaten there the burgers were dry, dry, dry.

I know this post is a little late but:

We were at Bank Street on Friday. I had the burger and I have to say it was a good one. The bun was great because sometimes when you get a nice juicy burger the bun disintegrates.

Brownings though still is the best burger I have had since we arrived in the 'ville. I would give them a try next time you need a burger fix.

They are OK but I certainly don't think they're as good as they used to be nor as good as many of the other places mentioned. Also to me the atmosphere is very depressing, very dark and it only seems a little dirty to me. Probably because of the self service bar for the toppings.

My GF took her dog to the dog park in the Highlands and I met up with them for lunch on Saturday. We ended up on the sidewalk at Bunz and in my opinion had one of the best burgers I've had in town. I got the double with pepper jack cheese and sauteed mushrooms. Awesome. She got a turkey burger which was also very good. She would have preferred it be seasoned more heavily, but she admits she likes everything more heavy. We split an order of fries which were also very good. Not skin on, but cooked the way I like them, fresh, hot, and crispy on the outside. The guys brought out water for the pooch and we enjoyed the sunshine!
