Amazing Thai and Take Thai are now open

Eastern Jefferson County has two new Thai restaurants, which I’m hoping to try soon.

Amazing Thai opened about a month ago at 12336 Shelbyville Road in Middletown (in the shopping center with Las Margaritas and the county clerk’s office). It offers a lunch special, which I wish more Thai restaurants would do.

Take Thai had its soft opening a few days ago at 12908 Factory Lane, near La Grange Road and the Snyder Freeway.

Incidentally, that Factory Lane area now has a bunch of locally owned, independent restaurants. In addition to Take Thai, there’s Old School N.Y. Pizza, White Buddha (Japanese), Mariscos Los Plebes (Mexican seafood) and Oishii Ramen. And Load It, which will offer loaded baked potatoes, plans to open soon.

I wonder if Load It is still a thing? Their signage has been up for a LOOOOONG time with very little if any progress apparent at least from driving by. But you are 100% right about that becoming a neat little food area!
