It's a BBQ Battle, no holds-barred. You and your chef will compose one dish for a grand evening of fraternity. This is going to be a ball)

We're early in the game- but we have Chefs Lamas, Durham and Ford on board- there's more to come!

We should begin service at 7:00.

I figured we'd offer a violet hour beforehand with a complimentary tasting. That allows everybody to coalesce before we adjourn to the tables.

@Chris: That sounds like a team, to me- Steve will represent Selena's as a pro. You have kindly offered yourself as an am. I'm good with that!

@Carla: You have a good point. Let me chew that one over...

The trickiest part of this event is that it is untried and I don't know who's going to be participating. And it's a composed meal, not a collection of tastings. I've given myself a cut-off of Sunday and then we will organize everything based around the rogue's gallery (with a little give- because you know there will be some additions/subtractions.)

Regrettably I won't be able to participate. My wife and social director just reminded me of a previous engagement I had already committed to on that evening. Sounds like a lot of fun, sorry I can't make it.
