Best wings

alright I have yet to see this topic, Who has the best wings locally??

my favorites Ditto's, & Buckhead's

I like the really traditional type where the skin is crispy and not soggy (but not breaded and fried). I really disklike mushy skin on boiled wings that are then drowned in sauce. My faves ever are at Chuck's Spring Street Cafe in Princeton, NJ. I haven't found ones that good here (with the old butter and hot sauce on them).

Anyplace where one can get wings like that in Louisville?

Cumberland's jerk wings are rather tasty.

Another vote for Cumberland Brews Jerk Jamaican Wings. They are hands down my favorite wings in town. Always piping hot (I let them rest for 3-5 minutes before the first bite), crispy hard fried and the combination of spice and honey is wonderful. Oh and they are big, plump wings.

I think it may be the honey that sells them for me, Brian. That sweet and spicy is great and sometimes the honey gets a little caramelized on the wing and creates a lovely shell.

Yes, they are my favorite wing period of any that I've ever had. Add a Nitro Porter and you are as close to heaven on earth as you can get

BW3 Mango Habanero wings are my favorite in town, though I admit the whole teenager cook problem causes randomness in quality order to order. When they're bad, they're still pretty good, and when they're good..... they are definitely the best around these parts.

The Jerk wings at Cumberland Brews are delicious.

The best traditional-style wings I've had in town are at the Spring Street Bar and Grill. The ones at the Back Door aren't bad, either.

Robin, sounds like you need to check out CB again and give them some pub!

I just looked at the old review and it looks like you didn't try the wings on that visit(can't see a date), not sure if you've tried them since.

And CB's mushrooms are very, very good also.

Don't forget Baxter Station, you guys. Outstanding wings. And the little Wings N Things out on North Hurstbourne right next to Boombozz Pizza and Vino also has excellent wings.

I love love love hot wings. However, I only like to eat the little drummies. Therefore I usually only get wings from Chili's since that's the only part of the wing they serve.
Is there anyplace else around that only sells the drummies?

Believe it or not, Captain's Quarters has really good, spicy, yet crispy wings. I am not a huge fan of their food, but these are worth the trip.
